meet your photographer
Born a West Coast gal and raised in the Midwest, I’ve always found inspiration in my surroundings. I started out sketching and painting, but my true passion ignited the first time I picked up a camera. Whether it's the way a child reaches for their mother's hand, how the light catches in someone's eyes or my daughter's smile; photos allow me to illustrate the beauty in fleeting moments and memories held dear.
I’m a strong believer that the best work comes from a love for what you do. So, in 2017, I left my 9-5 job in healthcare to pursue my dream of being a full-time photographer. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know my clients. My goal is to not only create fantastic images, but to also provide a fun and memorable experience.
I'm a sucker for natural light, and creating real, authentic moments rather than posed, forced photos. I love telling stories, though my work. My approach combines documentary and fine art into a beautiful, organic hybrid that is honest and raw. I go for the real thing.

I'm a mama, wife, photographer, adventurer, and storyteller. When I'm not behind the camera, you might find me editing photos in a coffee shop, hunting for antiques, working on a home renovation project or chasing my own two little ones around the park.
My passion for capturing families has been fueled by my own growing family. When people say “they grow up so fast” well, they really do! Over the years, I’ve wanted to capture all the sweet moments with my children and create heirloom images to be enjoyed for years to come. I want to offer the same experience to my clients because I intimately understand what it feels like in the chaotic yet wonderful years of raising children.

What It's Like To Work With Me
I believe there is a time and place for formally posed portraits, but the majority of my work is unposed and free-flowing. I use a series of prompts and directions to help you feel more relaxed and achieve an organic, authentic image. My passion is to photograph real people, emotions, connections and moments. I promise to make you laugh during your sessions and ease any pre-shoot nerves you may have. My goal is to make your photo session an enjoyable and fun experience where you create memories to look back on for years to come.
